100% Agree. Everyone should work in the service industry at some point in their lives. I worked at a restaurant in high school and college. It taught me how to understand customer needs, establish rapport, problem-solve, and negotiate (especially with the cook staff!)

I’ve learned that insecure managers with low EQ’s were the most dangerous to a company’s morale. They cling to any shred of power they possess. They protect their territory and hoard knowledge.
